This week we are changing tack. We will start building our own websites from scratch. We will be using GitHub Pages to host the sites. This weeks assignment is to set up the accounts and get the first webpage up.

Instructions

You must complete all of these steps to receive credit.

1. Create an account on GitHub. Choose your username wisely; it will be the domain associated with your user website.

2. Follow the steps on GitHub Pages to create a “User or organization site”. When prompted which client you are using, enter “I don’t know”.

3. Once you have followed the steps and set up your website, ensure that your website works by going to https://<username>.github.io.

4. Send me an email at: sristic[at]seas[dot]upenn[dot]edu by 2019-11-08 End of Day, containing:

   • Your GitHub username (the link to the website you set up).
   • At least three questions about this assignment or feedback in general.

   Be sure to give your email the subject line “BOOTS: AT5”.
